Event feedback

"I am the first one to sound out if something is a drop off, so I think it's only fair I do the same when something is good.

Last night (although I got there real late), was a good night, and I hope you put on more.  I brought along some young people, in the hope of giving them something positive to do that was 'church' related.

The youth we bought loved it, and were saying how it's an alternative to feeling the need to go out and do secular clubbing etc.  I was discussing with some of the adults who came from my church, how this is for youngsters, once again, because it removes the desire for them to seek activity in the world, and there's a safe environment for them to enjoy and fellowship.

Although this is not my kind of event, it is definitely something I would support in the future, just because I can see the value of it.  Well done, there was a nice vibe and a good crowd.  I had given up on Manchester gigs, and even nearly didn't come last night, but I'm glad I did.  I must say, the faces have changed on the scene very much...the crowds are a lot younger, or maybe I'm getting older?! And so many new faces, good thing I think.

I'm going to mention it in the next UKGospel podcast (dependent on the areas I'm asked to discuss - but hopefully i can squeeze it in!).  I just hope, for the sake of the youngsters, this won't be the last one?!
